Opening configuration

Right-hand pivot when viewed from outside. Opens into the building (OI). Stand outside facing the door to identify the hinge or pivot side. Hinge side is different from handle side.

This model uses a pivot opening mechanism. Allow the required clearance on both sides and have your installer confirm pivot positioning and installation requirements.

Have your installer check the wall opening, clearance, frame fixings, threshold and weather sealing. Nominal opening dimensions differ from actual frame dimensions; use both measurements above when checking the fit. Installation labour is not included.

For inward-opening entrance doors, the catalogue lists a weather bar, while Swartland also specifies that the builder must weatherproof below the door. Ask your installer to confirm the sill and threshold details for your installation.
